USEFUL TO KNOW

If it's difficult for you or your dog (or any pet) to get out due to illness or age and you would like a picture taken at home please contact me. If there is a room with good natural light we should be able to get some good images.  

If you have children that come along to the shoot please be aware that all my images are focused on the dog and anyone running around in the back ground will be blurred. Sometimes this can look quite nice but I just want to reiterate it's not a family shoot.

As this is a new venture I will still be working part time at my other job so please allow 1 to 2 weeks for images to be edited.  

You will be given the opportunity to choose your low resolution digital images for use on social media sharing with friends and one 12x8 inch high quality print.

I do my best to keep your photographs archived on my system for up to 6 months, after that time they may be deleted. It’s always best to put your digital files somewhere safe, perhaps using your preferred cloud storage service, so you can protect your doggy memories.

Please understand, taking pictures of dogs is not a given that we will end up with the ‘perfect shot’. Some dogs I have taken pictures of have been very well trained and are able to do certain poses. We want to capture the dogs character, that’s what I love about them, they are all different.

I am very happy to get down on the ground even when its soaking but if its ‘still’ raining we might have to postpone. We are very weather dependent when it comes to outdoor photography. It goes the other way too. If it's too hot I will call it off. The best time of day is first thing or at the end of the day. A midday, sunny shoot does not make for good doggy photos but this can all be discussed before booking.

If you are interested in having larger prints I am very happy to discuss this with you. The beauty of having professional pictures taken is you can have them made into an eye catching piece of wall art. This is made possible due to the high resolution you cannot get with an image taken on your phone. These vary in prices and would be much better for me to show you examples from other images before you purchase.
